On the way to one of the most important business centers in Switzerland

The D4 Business Village Luzern is a success story. Since its opening in 2003, over 100 companies have moved in and contributed towards the area becoming an ambitious business region: Future Valley Lucerne. This development will continue. The course is set. The progressive tax policy of the Canton  Lucerne and the work of Business Development Lucerne makes the region an attractive business location for companies from home and abroad. In addition, with the opening of the new motorway section in the  Knonaueramt (in November 2009) and the motorway approach road in Buchrain (from June 2011) the connections in the Rontal are faster and more direct than ever.

Continued expansion

The D4 Business Village Luzern remains one of the distinguishing features of Future Valley Lucerne. With its proven qualities of location, architecture, networking and service, expansion will continue. Additional buildings provide space for new companies from the most diverse fields. The heterogeneous mix of tenants provides great potential for synergies and increases the competitive capability of the companies located in D4.The  “Space & Added Value“ strategy will be continued. For the benefit of the tenant companies and their employees, external services such as a gym, child-care facility or hairdresser will be expanded further and supplemented as demand requires. Home to one of the biggest geothermal seasonal thermal storage systems in Switzerland, a solar panel array and a carbon-neutral wood chip burner heating system, the D4 Business Village Luzern has already set many examples with regards to ecology – and will continue to do so.
